New research showcase website
A team of social researchers from The Bartlett, UCL approached Reena to create a new website to pull together work, research and methods of studying everyday life and ordinary places.
They needed a site that would draw people in, and showcase the work already being done while encouraging others to read more and get involved. It was also paramount that the site was easy to manage.
The site was used using UCL’s standard Drupal template, but working with freelance graphic designer Janine Clayton, we created a bright brand to aid the visual appeal of the site.
The site was designed to grow with references to research added over time. In order to support the user to navigate these lists, icons were used. This aids the user in quickly identifying the different types of research content - paper, podcast and news articles while keeping the site free of reams of text.
Each page footer has a ‘Find out more’ section to encourage users to explore more of the site and get involved.
